MaxDepth hydrologists and engineers mapped Mirror Pond, Bend, Oregon, to determine the degree of siltation in the impoundment. Mirror Pond is created by a small hydroelectric dam on the Deschutes River and serves as a focal point for recreation in the downtown area. This bathymetric information will be used to assist city engineers with developing alternatives for restoring Mirror Pond to full use. |
